If you wish to put them outside, a very thick coat of sealer will keep them intact. Remember that these are all handmade and will be one of a kind.
The photo is a representation of what you will get, but very, very similar. They are handmade out of wood and metal and painted in different layers. If you place them outside, I suggest you seal them with a clear polyurethane sealer.
