The photo is a representation of the Insalata Round food safe dough bowl you will receive. Hand carved, these round deep wooden dough bowls (bateas) are solid and great looking. Because these are food safe and we have to add a food safe sealer. They will be a little shiny at first. But with time and use, that will diminish. This one measures about 15 Wide x 3D inches. We have had a lot of requests for bowls that are food safe. Happy to say we have finally done that. We have added 5 coats of food safe sealer to these round bowls.

NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Tone, smoothness, shape,etc, all rustic and never machine made. Please keep that in mind when you buy these. Also, if you have an issue with your item, let us resolve it.
