They are reminiscent of the large deep wooden trenchers of Eastern Europe. Hand carved, these rustic wooden dough bowls(bateas) are solid and great looking. They will measures about 11-12 wide x 24-26 inches long(tip to tip). The depth (height) on this beautiful bowl is about 3-4 inches and the bowl itself.

These dough bowls are great decorating pieces atop a kitchen island with fresh fruit, magazines and so much more. The patina we achieve on the them is beautiful.
