These hand carved rustic deep wooden dough bowls (bateas) are solid and great looking. Because you have asked for them, we have begun creating these food safe bowls. We apply 4-5 coast of a food safe sealer.  Understand that because of the food safe sealer, they will be a little shiny when you receive them. But with time and use, that will definitely diminish. It requires a lot of man hours to get these bowls to a food safe design. Please understand that these will be all one of a kind. Texture, tone, size etc will vary with each. So if you have a preference on any of that, please email us with that request as soon as you place your order and we will do our best to fill that request. The are all one of kind and will vary slightly and measure about "10-12W x 20-22L x 3"D. The sizes will vary slightly.

These dough bowls are great  for entertaining an filling them with your favorite snacks. A lot of buyers are using them to knead bread. The patina we achieve on the them is beautiful.
