We've finally done it. We could not do a painted bowl and make it food safe. We now have. These hand carved rustic deep wooden dough bowls (bateas) with handles are solid and great looking. Because you have asked for them, we have begun creating these food safe bowls. We apply 4-5 coats of a FDA approved food safe sealer. It requires a lot of man hours to get these bowls to a food safe design. Please understand that these will be all one of a kind. Texture, tone, size etc will vary with each. So if you have a preference on any of that, please email us with that request as soon as you place your order and we will do our best to fill that request. The are all one of kind and will vary slightly and measure about "10-12W x 18-21L x 4-5"D. This one has handles on the sides. The sizes will vary slightly. We offer several colors.
