You are buying 12 flat inserts....We carry two types of sugar mold tin inserts, the cone shaped, and the flat bottom inserts like these. Our sugar mold candles fit both inserts. The flat bottom inserts are better for burning votives. Not using an insert when burning candles in the sugar molds is asking for trouble. The problem with glass inserts, which we do not carry, is that sooner or later they will shatter and, well, create a mess and a danger. Not using the inserts will make it almost impossible to dig the old candle out of the mold. All of our complete sugar molds come with the inserts.
